New Owners Seminar at Freehold Raceway:

Freehold, NJ- Have you ever wondered how to become an owner of a racehorse? The Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association of New Jersey will be offering new Seminars soon.

Sponsored by The Standardbred Breeders & Owners Association of New Jersey and with support from Hanover Shoe Farm and the USTA, a New Owners Seminar will be conducted at Freehold Raceway for anyone considering the first-time purchase of a racehorse. Topics will include the cost, risks and rewards as well as how to select a trainer and horse for you. You will also have a chance to visit the paddock, TV studio and watch Larry Lederman announce a race.
 
Tuition is free. The programs will begin at 11:00 am. Pre-registration is required.
 
Participants will receive a one-year subscription to Hoof Beats magazine and a $25 credit for the USTA’s online database, PATHWAY. The seminar will be held in the Superbox suite and a lunch will be served.
