DINNER TICKETS DEADLINE FEB. 17 FOR DAN PATCH AWARDS BANQUET

HIGHTSTOWN, NJ -- February 11, 2025 -- The U.S. Harness Writers Association’s annual Dan Patch Awards banquet, sponsored by Caesars Entertainment, is set for Sunday night, Feb. 23, at Rosen Centre in Orlando, Fla.


If you plan on attending and haven’t yet ordered your dinner tickets, the deadline to do so is Monday, Feb. 17.

Tickets for the Dan Patch Awards banquet are $200, with a filet mignon dinner featured. There is also a reduced-priced menu option for children 12 and under. A limited number of rooms at Rosen Centre at the USHWA block rate of $209 per night (plus applicable taxes) are still available but reservations must be made by calling the hotel directly at 800.204.7234 and asking for the Dan Patch Awards/USHWA rate.


Also, all attendees are invited to the Saturday night, Feb. 22, poolside Diamond Creek Farm Welcome Cocktail Reception, which will also feature a country concert by rising star Mitch Rossell, presented by Dublin Valley Farms and North American Sales Company. The two-hour reception gets underway at 5:30 p.m., with the concert starting at 6:30 p.m.


The Dan Patch Awards banquet annually honors the best and brightest performers, both human and equine, of the previous season. The award winners are selected by USHWA, with all winners announced in advance except for Pacer of the Year, Trotter of the Year, and Horse of the Year, which will be revealed the night of the banquet. USHWA will hold its annual director’s meeting on Saturday and its general membership meeting the morning of the banquet.
