EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ -- October 28, 2026 -- With the 2026 Breeders Crown results now in, the focus of the connections of those with horses in contention for year-end honors is drawn to the $1 million FanDuel Championships at the Meadowlands on Saturday, November 14.

The last major stakes of the Grand Circuit season is unique because its format lets the top 3-year-olds in each division test the sport’s veteran stars.

Several have accepted that challenge throughout the years. Sophomore colt trotters What The Hill and Tactical Landing closed out their careers in style by defeating older foes in the Open Trot division. The great Twin B Joe Fresh defeated her older rivals in the 2023 Mare Pace, while Mike And Minnie accepted the challenge in 2025 and defeated older in the pacing mare division.

As the  FanDuel conditions state, “The Meadowlands reserves the right to invite the winner(s) of the races in the order listed below to race in the Championships to reach the maximum number of starters.”

Those stakes which offer the option for the winner to be invited to race in the TVG Championship are listed below, in order of preference. All invited horses from the races listed below are required to pay the declaration fee to enter the race.

Open Final:

1. Breeders Crown 3-Year-Old Colt Final - Diabolic Hill/Brandon Blvd

3. Hambletonian or Meadowlands Pace Final – Apex/Brandon Blvd

4. Kentucky Futurity/North America Cup - Nix Nacken/Odds On Mr Mamba

5. Breeders Crown Open Mare Final – Twin B Joe Fresh

6. Canadian Trotting Classic/Tattersalls Pace – Nix Nacken/Al Papi

7. Cane Pace - Sweet Lovin Lou

8. Little Brown Jug – Redland Rocket Man

3. Hambletonian or Oaks /Jerry Silverman Memorial – Nezuko Kamado S/Loua Dipa

4. Kentucky Futurity (filly)/Fan Hanover – She’s Moni/Loua Dipa

5. Elegant Image/Tattersalls (open or filly) – Nuance/Hope Hill

6. Shady Daisy – Sangria Summer

8. Zweig Memorial/Zweig Filly - Setyoursightshigh

In addition, a foreign-based horse may also be invited to race in any of the FanDuel Championships. If the invitation to the foreign-based horse is accepted, the field for the FanDuel Championships may be expanded to include one trailing horse and may be raced at the distance of one and one eighth miles. Foreign-based invitees are required to pay the declaration fee.

The top point-earning declared horse for each division will draw from post positions 1-6; all other post positions are by open draw.
