MANALAPAN, NJ — January 8, 2025 — The Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association of New Jersey is asking those considering standing a stallion in 2025 to consider the state of New Jersey. The state appropriation given to the harness racing industry has enhanced many of the SBOANJ and New Jersey Sire Stakes programs, allowing sire stakes to have purses for both pacers and trotters with high six-figure finals.

Those interested in standing a stallion in New Jersey or with questions are advised to call the SBOANJ office at 732.462.2357.

The deadline for registering a new stallion for the 2025 breeding season is Feb. 15, 2025.
