EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ -- June 14, 2025 -- It was bombs away early on Saturday night at The Meadowlands as 10-1, 70-1 and 19-1 shots lit up the board for the first three races, which served as the catalyst for no winning tickets on the 20-cent Pick-5.
What that means for players is a carryover of $22,989 the next time the bet is offered, which is Friday (June 20).
Races one through three were taken by Iammrbrightside N ($22.40 to win), Captain Carter ($143.20) and Yer So Bad ($41.00), respectively. Order was then restored when Our Corelli N ($5.60) took the fourth and Whammer Jammer ($9.80) the fifth. Those with four correct selections collected $114.96.
There is every reason to believe that a huge pool awaits players Friday. The last – and only time during 2025 – there has been a carryover in the Pick-5, a total of $183,943 of “new money” was poured into the pool on Jan. 25 chasing a carryover of $28,744 for a grand total of $212,687.
That night, the Pick-5 saw a sequence where winner’s odds were 6-1, 17-1, 3-2, 13-1 and 1-5, with winning tickets being exchanged for $2,787.26.
The 20-cent Pick-5 is offered nightly on races one through five.

‘WICKED’ WINNER: McWicked Time made a bold three-wide move at three-quarters, grabbed the top at the head of the stretch, then held sway to the wire to take the $15,000 featured TrackMaster 77.5 Series final for pacers.
“He raced well tonight,” said winning driver Joe Bongiorno. “He has a lot of go, but does have some trouble with his gait at times during the mile, but once they get him all ironed out, he definitely has the speed.”
