COLUMBUS, OH -- November 1, 2023 -- Lorraine Cunningham, 76, of Warwick, N.Y., passed Oct. 31, 2023.


Born on July 2, 1947, in Queens, N.Y., to Michael and Kaye McCabe, Mrs. Cunningham dedicated her life to the well-being and happiness of those around her. She was married to Standardbred racing participant Thomas Cunningham for 52 years, and together they fostered a home filled with love, laughter and unwavering support.


Among her many passions, spending cherished moments with her family at the beach brought her the greatest joy. She loved betting the horses and sharing the stories of the many adventures she and Tom had during his horse training days.


In addition to her husband, Mrs. Cunningham is survived by her children, Coleen Connolly, Sara Carlone, Kelly Birish and Megan Cunningham; sons-in-law, Barry Connolly, Anthony Carlone and Patrick Birish; siblings, Michelle (Jack), Suzanne (Oskar), James (Amanda), Marjorie (Dean) and Michael (Debbie); grandchildren, Sofia, Fin, Millie, TJ, Mae and Charlie; and 10 nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be held Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, NY 10990, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Nov. 3, at St. Stephen’s Parish, 75 Sanfordville, Warwick, NY 10990, at 10:45 a.m.
