LOUPRINT UNANIMOUS NO 1. IN TOP 10 POLL

HIGHTSTOWN, NJ -- October 8, 2025 -- Louprint remained perfect on the track last week with a 1:46.3 win in a division of the Grade 2 Tattersalls Pace, and it resulted in perfection off the track on Wednesday when he was named the unanimous No. 1 horse in the Week 17 edition of the Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll.

 

Louprint received all 35 first-place votes this week to become the season’s first undisputed top selection. He was ranked No. 1 for the first seven weeks of the poll, dropped to as low as fourth while sidelined because of surgery, and returned to No. 1 in Week 15 after capturing the Grade 1 Little Brown Jug.

 

Twin B Joe Fresh, coming off a track-record 1:47.3 victory in the Allerage Mares Pace at The Red Mile, moved from third to second in the rankings. She was followed by Grade 1 Kentucky Futurity winner Emoticon Legacy, who vaulted from eighth to third thanks to his 1:49.2 score in the third jewel of the Trotting Triple Crown.

 

Completing the top five this week were Yo Tillie and Beau Jangles, who were both idle.

 

Loua Dipa, who became the fastest 2-year-old female pacer in history when she won a division of last week’s Grade 3 International Stallion Stakes for freshman fillies in 1:48, was the only newcomer to the Top 10, landing at No. 9.

 

Super Chapter dropped out of the Top 10.

 

The Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll, which will continue weekly on Wednesdays through the Grand Circuit season, does not determine year-end awards. The members of the U.S. Harness Writers Association vote on all Dan Patch Award division winners plus Trotter of the Year, Pacer of the Year, and Horse of the Year.

 

Rankings based on the votes of harness racing media representatives on a 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis.
