EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ -- February 6, 2026 -- The Meadowlands Racetrack is cancelling live racing for tomorrow, Saturday, February 7.
“The strong winds on Saturday are expected to make the already historic low temperatures drop into the negatives,” said Big M Chief Operating Officer and General Manager Jason Settlemoir. “This will make the real feel temperature go below negative 15 degrees at post time. These temperatures put our horsemen, horsewomen, and our equine athletes at risk. For the health and safety of all participants, we decided to cancel our Saturday night race card.”
The Meadowlands Racetrack, the FanDuel Sportsbook, and Winners Bayonne will remain open for simulcasting and sports wagering.
The track’s Friday night card features a $7,802 Pick 6 carryover and the debut of the new PK8 with a $50,000 seeded pool.
