EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ -- April 29, 2026 -- One of the best locations to watch live racing on Friday and Saturday nights is the Meadowlands Racetrack’s Victory Terrace, which opens for the season this Friday, May 1, at 5:30 pm. It will open at 12 noon on Saturday, May 2, for the Kentucky Derby.

 

The outdoor rooftop lounge not only offers breathtaking views of the live harness racing action and the New York City skyline, but also a diverse range of food and drink specials at our full bar and grill service. For those who love music, our resident Terrace DJ spins the latest Top 40 hits all night long.

 

The Backyard BBQ & Grill and Backyard Bar will open for the season on Saturday, May 2, at 12 noon. While watching the world’s greatest harness racing, fans can grab some delicious pulled pork, BBQ brisket, and mac & cheese from the Grill and thirst-quenching cocktails and beer from the Backyard Bar.
