EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ -- March 25, 2025 -- The Meadowlands Racetrack stands united with the entire racing community in mourning the loss of Hunter Myers, who tragically passed away last week from a head injury as a result of an accident at The Meadows.

The Meadowlands encourages everyone to watch and wager on the fourth race on Saturday’s race card, as both the Meadowlands Racetrack and the SBOA of New Jersey will be donating their net revenue share to Hunter’s fiancée, Chloe, and son, Hayden.

Meadowlands CEO Jeff Gural will match the total share in the 4th race.

"I only had the chance to see Hunter once a year, and that was at the Delaware County Fair. He was an amazing person who truly loved our sport. He always had a great attitude." "We continue to pray for his family and loved ones during this difficult time," Jason quotes

The Meadowlands Racetrack extends its heartfelt condolences and prayers to the family and friends of Hunter Myers.
