EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ -- May 15, 2024 -- The Meadowlands will offer a short overnight series' for 3-year-old trotters with separate colt & filly divisions that are Non Winners of 2 (NJ Sired 3) Pari-Mutuel Races or $30,000 Lifetime (winners of more than $75,000 life ineligible) with New Jersey sired preferred (date preference over non-NJ sired) and eligible for the 25% NJ bonus in these races.

There will be $20,000 legs on Friday, May 31 and Friday, June 7 with a $40,000 final going on Friday, June 14. There is no payment required, simply enter the race as you would for an overnight.

These races are designed to provide starts for the less accomplished prospects from New Jersey and other regional programs for evaluation toward their future. It is the hope of the racetrack that they will fill a void for both the connections and make for competitive races of decent field size for the horse player.

Any questions should be sent to Director of Racing Scott Warren at swarren@playmeadowlands.com.
