MANALAPAN, NJ -- August 26, 2023 -- The Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association of New Jersey's board of directors would like to welcome its newest member Michael Posner of Jackson, New Jersey. He is filling a vacancy in the driver/trainer category from earlier this year.
Michael is a longtime local horseman that frequently races at Freehold Raceway and the Meadowlands. His career with standardbreds started in 1980 after attending The Ohio State University and obtained his driver/trainer license in 1982. Michael currently owns and operates a 25 acre standardbred training and rehab facility in Jackson, New jersey.
The board of directors are excited to have Posner join them as the newest representative of the NJ horsemen.
