Greyhound is a meticulously researched and completely factual account of the great trotter’s life from his birth in 1932 to his death in 1965. Cheryl L. Eriksen is an author, blogger, horse midwife, and eternal student of horse behavior and communication. She earned her Masters of Social Work from Western Michigan University. She has spent decades working in multiple areas of the horse industry, has developed and taught continuing education courses for social workers, college lectures on foaling, and speaks on a variety of topics including trauma and resiliency, and her own experiences with PTSD and the healing power of the horse-human connection.
