COLUMBUS, OH -- September 6, 2023 -- The American Horse Council, U.S. Trotting Association and the harness racing industry need assistance from both your members and you.

The AHC is requesting that all harness racing participants and Standardbred owners complete the AHC's National Impact Study Survey, which will do a special breakout of Standardbreds and harness racing.

The Sept. 29 deadlines for the end of the survey is rapidly approaching.

We are asking that you contact your members and ask them to participate in the survey if they have not done so already.

The study is the most comprehensive and widely used study of the industry's contributions to the economy. The results will provide important information about the significant economic impact of harness racing and Standardbreds that can be used to provide legislators at the local, state and federal levels to pass laws favorable to our industry.

The AHC Economic Impact Study survey can be found at

www.surveymonkey.com/r/AHC_Owner_Survey

To encourage participation, the AHC has partnered with several sponsors to offer 15 incentive prizes, including a first prize of a John Deere Z545R ZTrak Mower valued at $7500.

For more information on the survey and the American Horse Council visit their website at
