MANALPAN, NJ – August 22, 2024 – The Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association of New Jersey would like to remind all owners and trainers that the Home Grown Pace and Garden State Trot will take place at Freehold Raceway in September. 

 

The Garden State Trot is for New Jersey sired trotters. 3-Year-Old colts will take place on Thursday, September 12, 2024. The Garden State Trot for 3-Year-Old fillies will go on Thursday, September 19, 2024. Both divisions will have a purse of $50,000.

The Home Grown Pace is for New Jersey sired, New Jersey Standardbred Development Fund eligibles and New Jersy foaled pacers who were nominated as yearlings. 

 

The Home Grown Pace for 3-Year-Old fillies will race on Thursday, September 19, 2024. While the 3-Year-Old colts will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024. The Home Grown Pace stakes races will have a purse of $40,000 each at Freehold Raceway.
