THURSDAY TRAINING AT THE MEADOWLANDS

EAST RUTHERFORD -- April 14, 2026 -- Beginning Thursday, May 7^th and continuing each Thursday morning through Thursday, May 28^th the Meadowlands Racetrack will offer its racing oval to those trainers wanting to train their horses over the surface. The gates to the backstretch and paddock will open beginning at 7am and the track will be available until noon for training purposes. This year the costs associated with training horses will need to be split evenly between trainers and the number of horses training that day. For example the cost for each day is $ 5,000 to cover the Meadowlands Racetrack expenses if 5 trainers reserve the track and each has 10 horses the cost would be one hundred dollars per horse.

Trainers must check each horse in on the morning of with security and will be billed accordingly. Please bring a check with you made out to the “New Meadowlands Racetrack”. Please call the race office for more information toll free at 877-782-2537 and reserve a spot today for one of the Thursday’s in May (7^th, 14^th, 21^st, 28^th).
